A Miracle!

[From Mommy} OK so it's a minor miracle - Baby Bear came back! Where did he come from? How did he get back in the house? We last saw him in Lincoln months ago and we tore that van apart looking for him before we decided he must have gotten left in one of the stores.
Meredith was sitting on the chair with the "other" baby bear. I went in the bedroom and came back out and saw a yellow bear on the floor by the computer. I wondered why she walked over there and left bear and then went back to the chair. But when I took him over to her she still had the other one. I must have stood there for half a minute trying to decide if I was hallucinating or not seeing the colors right. I showed him to Meredith and she said "But I thought I couldn't have him anymore." Anyway, Meredith is VERY HAPPY to have both baby bears again.

On that note. Neither of the baby bears is in her 4-year-old pictures. She didn't want to bring him into the store and maybe lose him again. And, I think she's breaking away from him a little bit. John's kind of upset - he'd gotten used to having this additional small yellow "child" in just about every picture we've ever taken of her. Maybe she'll have to lend him to Daddy when she is finished with him. ...But if Daddy starts taking him to bed, they'll both be sleeping on the couch!
