John and I were out looking for houses last weekend and we saw a stable so we just stopped in to check it out. Turns out the manager also runs a 4H club and the kids use her horses so they don't even need to have their own. And she had one spot left. So we signed Meredith up.

Tonight was her first night. She really, really, really, really enjoyed it! Really. She got to clean out the horses' stalls, groom a horse, clean the horse's hooves, ride a horse, and rope a fake cow.

And she really enjoyed it. Not sure if I mentioned that.

Of course, she's just now going to bed and it's 9:41 so she'll be tired in the morning but I think she'll agree it's worth it.
